about
I wrote this song in a moment when I was feeling lost, homesick and missing my family and friends in Italy. At the same time i was overwhelmed by the love I was receiving from my friends and people here in Melbourne.
This song is for all those people lost between the memories of who you were and a future that looks like a blank page.
lyrics
How do I know if I'll find a home?
The quiet place, inside the storm
How do I know how long I will roam?
Before I'll be a wreck in the ocean
How do I know what's in front of me?
If what I'm leaving for is what I miss
My dirt and skin and my holy dream
It's part of me, it's where I've been
All I know is you, you're something more
Someone on this road, never met before
When you bring me home, You bring me home
You bring me home, you bring me home
You give me hope, you give me hope
You bring me home, You bring me home
How do I know when my dusk will fall?
If I don't trust, another dawn
All these scars where do they belong?
Is it still there, my silent dove?
All I know is you, you're something more
Someone on this road, never met before
When you bring me home, You bring me home
You bring me home, you bring me home
You give me hope, you give me hope
You bring me home, You bring me home
Let my burden fall
And take me where I haven't been yet
You still the pendulum
Of this heart from moving all around
When you bring me home, You bring me home
You bring me home, you bring me home
You give me hope, you give me hope
You bring me home, You bring me home
